Procedure Steps
Morpheus8 is performed as an in-office treatment. Treatments are between 30-60 minutes depending on the size and number of treatment areas. The skin is prepped, and topical numbing cream is applied as well as Pronox (nitrous oxide) is available to make the patient as comfortable as possible.
Morpheus8 combines radiofrequency technology, micro needling, and fractional treatments to address a variety of skin conditions. These tiny needles penetrate the skin and heat the tissue to stimulate the production of collagen. It is the only treatment known to mold fat under the skin to obtain optimal contouring and refining subdermal layers to sculpt the body naturally with no downtime. Morphues8 is designed to treat a wide variety of skin concerns like; fine lines and wrinkles, tighten skin elasticity, increase collagen production, fade stretch marks, smooth out rough or uneven skin texture, treat hyperpigmentation, reduce some fat, treat acne scarring along with other scaring.
Safety Preparation & Risk
In order to perform Morpheus8 with the best results, we ask that patients stop certain medications and all nicotine products. Dr. Quintero would like for patients to follow this recommendation for a better healing and recovery process.
The risks of Morpheus8 include:
- Temporary redness
- Light swelling
- Dry, flaky skin
- More serious complications are rare, although pain, blisters, scarring, and areas of hyperpigmentation can occur.
Recovery
Some patients experience slight redness or swelling, but typically subside within a day or two after treatment. Morpheus8 results can take some time to appear. The most noticeable results can occur after three weeks with continual improvements for about three to six months.
