BodyTite is better suited to address larger areas such as the arms, flanks, abdomen, buttocks, and upper legs. This treatment is an ideal, non-surgical option to tighten loose, stretched out skin.
The wand used to perform BodyTite, or FaceTite has a thin plastic probe which is inserted into the tissues while the second probe sits on top of the skin. Once the wand is activated, energy from the internal probe melts the fat and heats the tissues between the two probes. Once the target temperature is reached, the connective tissue and dermis contract. The liquefied fat is then easily removed using a traditional liposuction cannula.
Because there is less trauma to the tissues, BodyTite and FaceTite results in less bruising, less swelling, and less pain during recovery. The expected downtime is between 1-2 days depending on the number of areas treated and location of the treated area(s). Since traditional liposuction is performed, a compression garment is worn following the procedure for 3-4 weeks. Results of the BodyTite or FaceTite procedure can be seen immediately, however, the most remarkable results are seen 6-12 months following the treatment providing continued skin contraction and improvement of skin quality and body contour.
